Deputy Minister of Culture receives members of the Board of Directors of the Publishers Union

Deputy Minister of Culture, Mr. Saad Naasan, received the newly elected board members of the Syrian Publishers Association, headed by Dr. Atef Namous, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in supporting the publishing and book industry, developing cultural production, and promoting Syrian books both locally and internationally. Both sides emphasized the importance of the partnership between the Ministry of Culture and the Association in supporting Syrian publishers and expanding publishing and distribution opportunities. They also discussed launching initiatives to support young publishers, developing the fields of publishing, printing, and cultural marketing, and coordinating book fairs in Syrian governorates, all of which contribute to revitalizing cultural activity and strengthening the book industry in Syria.
